SALFORD LADS CLUB Synonymous with the band because of Stephen Wright’s iconic picture on the sleeve of The Queen is Dead LP, you will be given a guided tour of the club and gain access to the Smiths room which has been set up as shrine to the band.

384 KINGS ROAD is Morrissey’s old house where Johnny Marr knocked on his door in 1982 looking to form a band.

THE IRON BRIDGE ‘under the iron bridge we kissed, even though we ended up with sore lips’. The line immortalised in the classic Smiths single ‘Still Ill’.

SOUTHERN CEMETERY is where Morrissey used to meet his friend Linda Sterling,  ‘A dreaded sunny day so I meet you at the cemetery gates…’, So we go inside and gravely read the stones’), from cemetery gates on the queen is dead LP.

Going through the Rusholme area of Manchester passed PLATT FIELDS where the fair is regularly situated, which was the inspiration for Rusholme Ruffians on the Meat is Murder LP.

THE PALACE THEATRE is where the smiths played on the meat is murder tour.

THE FREE TRADE HALL  is where the smiths played here October 30th 1986. Morrissey got the inspiration for forming The Smiths after seeing a gig by the Sex Pistols here in 1976

THE G-MEX is where the smiths played also in 1986 as part of the festival of the 10th summer, celebrating 10 years since the birth of punk.

THE RITZ is where it all started with there first gig in October 1982. It was also used for a scene in Morrissey’s favourite movie ‘A Taste Of  Honey’

CRAZY FACE Is the clothing company owned by Joe Moss, The Smiths Manager, it is in this building that The Smiths set up there first rehearsal room.
